So I decided to take the liberty and introduce you guys to my makeup collection as of yet. Underneath each picture will be the brand, the color and my thoughts. Enjoy!
First off is my Revlon lipstick in Apricot Fantasy, number 120 as you can see above. The consistency is quite nice, smooth and moisturizing. The color is more orange toned than I thought it would be,but, if you pair it with a nice pink toned lip gloss, the color is amazing.
Next is my Glow Away bronzer and highlight combo from Hard Candy. The color is Maui and the top left is the bronzer, and the bottom left is the highlight color. They both give a beautiful shimmer and glow to the skin, and the only thing I have against this is the smell. I would prefer it to have an actual beautiful smell, but it smells more like plastic than anything else sadly.
Here we have the Fit Me compact is the color Sandy Beige. It comes from Maybelline New York, and it have the color on top, and underneath there is a mirror and a powder puff. I personally don't like the powder puff, so I go generally for a fluffy powder brush to apply it over my liquid foundation.
Next is the lip gloss I mentioned above with the Revlon lipstick. It is in the color All of American Girl, number 154. It is a plumping serum, and smells like vanilla. It is absolutely divine. A must have in your purse! The only thing I have against it is that is has the sticky consistency which causes my hair to stick to my lips sometimes haha.
My favorite mascara off all time is the One by One volume express by Maybelline New York in very black. It gives my already long eyelashes the added oopmph that they need. Clumping can occur sometimes, but if you watch what you are doing, they look amazing. However, I would not use this mascara if you don't want very dramatic lashes.
This thing really isn't a makeup product, but it's a must have for moisturized lips. The brand is EOS, and I think the smell is supposed to be strawberry smoothie, but it is hard to know, because the smell/flavor isn't on the product. It doesn't taste all the great, which is a let down because I lick my lips a lot, but the overall product is amazing.
The next three lipsticks I am going to show are from a brand called the Color Workshop. I bought these at Wal-mart and there are some great things about them, but also so bad ones. This color is a golden pink one, with LOTS of shimmer, which I hate. It leaves a gritty texture on my lips after sitting for a while, yet, at first it applies smoothly onto the lips. If you are someone who likes lots of shimmer, then you'll love this product.
This is a very beautiful berry color with very little glitter in it. It is a little too dark for me, but if you blot a little onto the lips like a stain, and apply a clear or pink toned gloss over top of it, it looks lovely for on stage or nicer events like that.
This one is a bright red color that if you have hazel eyes brings out the gold in the eyes. Well, at least for me it does haha. I have worn this color the most out of the ones I have from the Color Workshop. If your hair is dark, this color will look absolutely stunning on you. My hair is naturally blonde, but currently my hair is a strawberry blond color. I am dying my hair a dark brown before the week is out so I will post a picture with the brand, color, and result afterwards.
This eyeliner is my favorite pen liner of all time. It is the Maybelline Unstoppable eyeliner in the color onyx. Sorry about the quality of the swatch, my camera didn't pick up the color all the well. My daily look ALWAYS includes this eyeliner because it looks AMAZING in the water line with the One by One mascara. I will post some pictures of my daily look on here soon, and also will include a link to a youtube tutorial that I will do to show how I accomplish my look.
This eyeshadow palette is actually from the dollar store believe it or not, and it is the brand L.A. Colors. The pigments are actually amazing, and are long lasting. The colors are a turquoise blue, a lime green, yellow, a bright orange, a matte orange, a red and a pink, a deep purple, a forest green, and a deep shimmery black.
One of my favorite setting powders is the L'oreal Paris Hydra Perfecte translucent powder. It smells amazing, and is perfect over a liquid foundation and makes your face glow amazingly. I would highly recommend it. The only problem I have with it is since it is a loose powder, it gets EVERYWHERE. It came with a powder puff, but like I said with the Fit me collection, I use a fluffy powder brush.
My camera died before I could take the rest of the pictures of the rest of my collection, but I will be sure to either edit this post, or make a new one. I hope you enjoyed this very lengthy post, and I will see you all soon!
